Drs Donaldson, Dudgeon and Renfrew
Dr Lucy Donaldson is joining the practice from September 2020 – September 2021, to cover Dr Maredia’s maternity leave. We are delighted to welcome her to the team.
Dr John Dudgeon is a long term friend of the practice who is covering Fridays for us for the foreseeable future, his experience is a very welcome addition to the team.
Dr Emma Renfrew will be familiar to many of you from her time covering Dr Andrews’ maternity leave. It is great to have her back as part of the team now.
Dr Lucy Donaldson
MBChB BScHons MRCGP
Dr Donaldson qualified from Edinburgh University in 2013 after completing her pre clinical years in St. Andrews in 2010.
After foundation training in Lothian and Fife she moved to Glasgow for her GP training which she completed earlier this year.
Her interests include care of the elderly, women’s health and medical education.
She has a young family and can often be seen cycling around Glasgow with her daughter on the back of her bike.
Dr John Dudgeon
MBChB LLM DCH MRCGP
Having worked as a GP partner in Neilston for many years and having previously acted as the Clinical Director for East Renfrewshire, Dr Dudgeon’s main job since 2017 has been as a Medical Case Examiner with the General Medical Council. He also works as a Sessional GP and since January 2020 he has been working exclusively with the two practices of Clarkston Medical Centre.
He previously trained GPs and retains an interest in medical education including supporting medical students and health practitioners looking to develop their skills
Dr Emma Renfrew
MBChB DRCOG MRCGP
Dr Renfrew is delighted to be returning to the practice. She graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2008 and qualified as a GP in 2014. Since then she has worked in a number of practices across the west of Scotland. She has a young family and is looking forward to returning to work after her third child.
