Dear All,

The HSCP has announced its strategy for the provision of the annual flu vaccine to patients aged 60-64, an extra precaution in light of COVID-19.

There is a link to the PDF containing all the information below, but the gist of it is:

East Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership will be running drop in flu clinics for people aged 60-64 on the dates detailed below.

In order to keep patients and our staff safe we are inviting East Renfrewshire residents to attend a specific clinic based on your GP practice. This will help us ensure social distancing measures are adhered to.

If you are unable to attend the clinic scheduled for your GP practice, you are able to attend any of our clinics in the afternoon between 1pm and 3pm or arrange a an appointment at a participating community pharmacy to receive your vaccination.

When attending the drop in flu clinic it is important to bring your letter with you. Letters are going out from Wednesday 2nd December.

The date for our patients’ drop in clinic is Saturday 12th December, 9am-3pm, at the Eastwood Health & Care Centre.

If you have any questions, please call 0800 22 44 88. Do not call the surgery – you have just read literally everything we know about the vaccine provision. All eligible patients will be sent an invitation letter by the Health Board.
