The notice period for foreign travel advice from the practice nurse team is changing. This was previously 3 weeks before the date of travel.
After discussion with clinical staff it was felt that this period didn’t provide sufficient time to cover all immunisations and/or period of treatment.
Therefore the notice period will now change to 6 weeks with immediate effect.
Please note that not all travel immunisations are available on the NHS. The practice nurse can provide further details as required.
